RAIDIUM raises €16 million to become the co-pilot for radiologists

Radiology faces a steady rise in demand, increasingly complex examinations, and professionals often under significant strain. In this context, Raidium, founded in 2022 by Dr. Paul Herent and Pierre Manceron, offers a solution based on generative artificial intelligence (AI) to address these challenges.

Raidium’s AI-powered solution integrates into a dashboard designed for practitioners. This digital co-pilot allows users to query the AI via prompts and receive precise real-time analyses. Its capabilities include identifying areas of interest in images, generating detailed reports, and significantly reducing interpretation times.

In addition to its speed, Raidium stands out for its ability to analyze the entire human body, enabling it to handle complex cases such as metastatic cancers or liver diseases.

The company has already secured strategic partnerships with AP-HP and pharmaceutical laboratories. It plans to open offices in the United States in the medium term and is actively working toward regulatory certifications, notably in Europe and the U.S.

Co-founded by Pierre Manceron and Paul Herent, Raidium recently announced a €16 million funding round with participation from Newfund and the European Innovation Council (EIC). This amount includes funds raised in July 2023 during a pre-seed round. The new funding will support its growth ambitions, including hiring 15 new employees by 2025.
