PerfectStay, a startup specializing in B2B(2C) travel distribution, has announced a restructuring of its leadership team to support its new growth phase. This development follows a strategic partnership with HBX Group, a major player in the B2B TravelTech sector, which has taken a stake in PerfectStay.
Leadership Restructuring
PerfectStay’s four co-founders—Raphaël Zier, Laurent Curutchet, Ludovic Bailly, and Stéphane Libre—have realigned their roles within the company. Raphaël Zier has been appointed CEO, taking over from Laurent Curutchet, who is now Executive Chairman, responsible for financial strategy. Ludovic Bailly remains Chief Information Officer (CIO), and Stéphane Libre continues as Senior Vice President of Supply (SVP Supply).
This organizational change is aimed at enhancing PerfectStay’s international expansion by leveraging its expertise in delivering tailor-made travel solutions for airlines, hotels, and other key industry players.
Strategic Partnership with HBX Group
In July 2024, PerfectStay announced its strategic partnership with HBX Group, newly formed by Hotelbeds. HBX Group also encompasses the brands Bedsonline, Roiback, and TravelStack. This group was created following a major technological overhaul that began two years ago, with the goal of establishing itself as a key technology partner in the hotel and travel distribution sectors.
HBX Group operates across 190 global markets and offers comprehensive travel booking solutions, integrating advanced technology and financial products. The partnership with HBX Group aims to strengthen PerfectStay’s growth strategy by providing access to an extensive ecosystem of B2B(2C) solutions and technological innovations designed to meet evolving market demands.
Growth Objectives
PerfectStay is targeting €1 billion in revenue by 2027. The startup, which raised €15 million in 2018, plans to enhance its existing partnerships, particularly with airlines, and forge new alliances to support its international expansion. The partnership with HBX Group represents a critical milestone in achieving these objectives.
Market Position
PerfectStay is recognized for its bespoke approach, allowing airlines, hotels, and other businesses to offer personalized travel solutions that enhance their value proposition without directly competing with them. This model has helped the startup differentiate itself in the evolving B2B(2C) travel distribution market, which is increasingly driven by technological innovation.
