MAGO, a French startup specializing in video stylization and transformation through artificial intelligence, has announced a €1.5 million seed round led by Atlantic Labs, a German fund focused on Deep Tech startups. This funding will enable MAGO to accelerate the development of its tool and double its workforce, growing from 6 to 12 employees.
Founded by ALVARO LAMARCHE TOLOZA and ALEKSANDR SPIRIN, MAGO targets professionals in creative industries with a technology that can transform videos into various artistic styles (cartoons, paintings, etc.) while seamlessly integrating into professional workflows. Building on the success of WarpFusion, an open-source prototype that garnered over 150 million views, the team aims to launch the first version of its tool in early 2025 with a freemium model.
MAGO also plans to integrate its solution with software like Unreal Engine and Blender, strengthening its position in the professional tools market for studios, agencies, and freelancers.
