Bamboo Rose acquires French startup Verteego

The French startup Verteego, specializing in decision intelligence, has been acquired by Bamboo Rose, a U.S.-based platform providing technology solutions for the retail sector. This acquisition aims to enhance automation and decision-making capabilities for leading global brands.

Founded in 2018 by Rupert Schiessl and Clément Guillon, Verteego offers an artificial intelligence platform designed to optimize sales strategies and omnichannel operations for retailers. With narrow margins and intense competition in the sector, Verteego’s mission is to help retailers make more precise and strategic decisions.

In 2021, Verteego raised €2.5 million from investors including Archipel Ventures, Supercapital, Holnest, Finoli, and Bpifrance, alongside historical backers such as Kima Ventures. The funding round also attracted SaaS and retail experts like Charles Egly (Younited Crédit) and Guillaume Princen (ex-Stripe).

Bamboo Rose, based in the United States, is a renowned technology platform providing integrated solutions for product development and order management to some of the world’s largest brands. By acquiring Verteego, Bamboo Rose strengthens its portfolio of innovative technologies and bolsters its position in automating complex processes and decision intelligence.

The two companies will showcase their shared vision and solutions at NRF 2025, taking place in New York City from January 12 to 14.

With this acquisition, Verteego enters a new phase of international growth, leveraging strong synergies between artificial intelligence and automation to tackle the challenges of modern commerce.
