FREQENS raises €3M to support SMEs and mid-sized companies in optimizing their purchasing decisions

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies face numerous challenges in effectively managing their purchases. Limited dedicated resources and a lack of price transparency in the B2B market make negotiating optimal conditions a complex task. Freqens addresses this issue with a negotiation intelligence platform powered by real-time price benchmarks.

This solution enables businesses to centralize supplier data, compare their purchasing terms with market benchmarks, and identify savings opportunities. Users can analyze price discrepancies, track contracts, and optimize procurement processes, even with limited teams. With an intuitive interface and anonymized data, Freqens provides strategic insights typically accessible only to large corporations with dedicated procurement departments.

By fostering internal collaboration, Freqens aims to encourage a culture of informed purchasing within companies. Teams can make data-driven decisions, share best practices, and enhance negotiations while improving overall efficiency. This approach not only strengthens financial performance but also boosts transparency and accountability in expense management.

Last July, Freqens launched its product in beta, following a €3 million funding round led by SEEDCAMP, KIMA VENTURES, SEQUOIA, and MOTIER VENTURES. The round also saw participation from prominent angel investors such as ALEXANDRE YAZDI and JONATHAN WIDAWSKI.
