CONDUKTOR raises 30 million € to help regulated industries better manage their data

Nicolas Orban, co founder & CEO of CONDUKTOR

Founded in 2019, CONDUKTOR is a startup specializing in real-time data management for businesses. Its platform allows for the supervision and control of data flows through an intuitive interface that simplifies the use of Apache Kafka. This technology is already commonly used by companies to process large amounts of real-time data, an area where data management presents numerous challenges, particularly in terms of security and compliance.

Conduktor’s solution offers an intermediate control layer, acting as “Streaming as a Service.” This approach transforms how companies structure and exploit their data streams by implementing a no-code management framework and a “Shift Left” approach. It ensures optimal quality control and compliance right from the source, before the data is integrated into critical company systems. Thanks to this flexibility, teams can deploy security and compliance policies that are modular according to the specific needs of each department or project, without touching the code of the underlying applications. Conduktor thus enables secure operations in highly regulated sectors such as finance, healthcare, and retail.

The Conduktor platform integrates with common data stream management technologies like Apache Kafka, as well as leading cloud solutions such as Confluent, Amazon MSK, and Microsoft Azure. Among its clients are leading companies like BMW Group, Capital Group, Flix, SIX Group, DraftKings, and Lufthansa, which use this technology to optimize and secure their large-scale data streaming strategies.

The real-time data management market is booming, with projected growth from $22.34 billion in 2023 to $185 billion by 2032, supported by increasing uses of AI and machine learning.

Conduktor announces that it has closed a $30 million Series B funding round. This round, led by RTP Global, also includes participation from M12 (Microsoft’s venture capital fund), Ansa, and Accel, the lead investor in Conduktor’s Series A in 2021.
